How to buy

In fact, the procedure for buying tickets is rather complicated and long, in addition, it is divided into several stages. The first period of the first stage of sales began on September 14 and will last until October 12. Fans can apply for tickets, but if the number of applications exceeds the number of available seats, tickets will be distributed by lot. Each viewer who submits an application will be notified of its status before November 16.

The second period of the first stage of sales will start on November 16 and will end on November 28, tickets will be sold on a first-come-first-served basis.

The second stage of sales will begin after the drawing of lots on 1 December. First, from December 5 to January 31, tickets will be sold on demand, then from March 13 to April 3 – on a first-come first-serve basis. The third stage of sales “at the last minute” will open on April 18 and will last until the end of the championship.

In Moscow, the matches will be held at two stadiums: Luzhniki and Spartak. Places are divided into five categories:

  • Category 1. The most expensive tickets for seats with the best location in the stadium.
  • Categories 2 and 3. Tickets for seats located outside the zone of the first category.
  • Category 4. Tickets at an affordable price exclusively for residents of Russia.
  • Sky-boxes. Corporate lodges of the raised comfort with service under the improved standard, including with a hot food.
  • Special tickets. Tickets are for people with disabilities, low-mobility citizens and overweight people.

Where to sit

Seats of the first category – the most extensive – are located on the left and right of the edge of the field. Seats of the second category – in the corner area. The third category – on both sides almost outside the gate, and the fourth – just outside the gate on the second tier. It’s good that there is no place for information boards.

The main advantage of holding the World Cup in Russia is the resident tickets at the lowest price. Buy tickets at this price can those who live in Russia on a permanent or temporary basis, including citizens of Russia, as well as citizens of other states.

 The minimum cost of the ticket for the match of the group stage will be 1280 rubles, for the opening match – 3200 rubles. To get to the games of 1/8 finals, you will have to pay from 2240 rubles, to quarter-finals – from 3800 rubles, to semifinals – from 4480 rubles, to match for third place – from 3800 rubles and to the final – from 7040 rubles.

For foreigners, the most inexpensive ticket for matches of the group round will cost 6300 rubles, for meetings 1/8 finals – 6900 rubles, for quarter-finals – 10 500 rubles, for semifinals – 17 100 rubles, for the match for third place – 10 500 rubles and for the final – 27 300 rubles.

Package offers

Also there are package offers for several matches. For example, by purchasing a package of tickets for the stadium “Luzhniki”, you can see all the matches of the group stage at the stadium (except for the opening match), the games of the 1/8 finals and the match for the 3rd place, cost from 6080 rubles. The same subscription to the stadium “Spartacus” will cost from 7360 rubles.

You can also buy tickets for matches of a certain team. The cheapest tickets with participation of our national team, including three matches of the group stage, cost 28,380 rubles, the most expensive, including the final, is 96,360 rubles.

The 2018 World Cup will be held from June 14 to July 15. 32 teams will be divided into groups of four teams. From each group in the playoffs come out on two teams.

Matches will be held in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Sochi, Nizhny Novgorod, Samara, Volgograd, Rostov-on-Don, Kaliningrad, Yekaterinburg and Saransk. In Moscow, the games will be held at the stadiums “Luzhniki” and “Spartacus.”
