The FIA World Council for Motor Sport has made changes to the points system for obtaining a super license for racing in the Formula 1 races.

The maximum number – 40 – remained unchanged. But if earlier the points for victory were the same in GP2, IndyCar, European F3, Formula E and LMP1 in WEC, then in 2018 all winners will be awarded at once only winners and winners of F2 championship (former GP2) and IndyCar, while in the rest – to 30.

For the victory in the championship GP3 will now be awarded 20, not 25 points. But the biggest reduction touched the World Series Formula 3.5 V8, where the champion will receive only 20 points instead of the previous 35.
