Sony launches the Android Oreo rollout on Xperia XZ Premium. New graphic design and the ability to scan objects within one minute of the enabled features
Sony Xperia XZ Premium is the top Japanese smartphone. We got to test it out early in the fall. This is a very elegant and powerful proposal with the 5.5-inch diagonal display, 3840 × 2160 pixel resolution, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU with Adreno 450 GPU, 4 Gbyte of RAM, 64 Gbyte of expandable memory. We leave you to our review for all the details of the case.
Today the news is the arrival, as promised, of Android 8.0 Oreo on this model, starting from these days, obviously with updated scrapbook over time. The upgrade to Oreo will activate Sony 3D Creator features the proprietary algorithm for scanning 3D objects already introduced with Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact.
3D Creator allows you to create high-quality 3D scans in less than 60 seconds, choosing from four scanning modes: full head, face, food, and generic objects, and easily share your 3D file with social or send it directly to a 3D printer.
Predictive Capture also comes in, allowing you to start capturing images by initial buffering when it detects movements, smiles, even before the same shots. Always as far as the photographic department is concerned, the arrival of Oreo enables Autofocus burst to intelligently follow the subject of the picture, adjusting the focus to ensure moving shots in focus.
Instead, with the Android 8.0 interface, new app icons come in, and the new graphic design with the ability to access the app menu simply prolongs the click of the icons.
